Project Coordinator & Grant Support Role
Contract Position (Part-Time, Remote)
Position Overview
IFFA is seeking a committed and organized Project Coordinator to support the production of our Kinosew Virtual Labs initiative and assist with grant research and applications. This is a part-time, contract-based role for an emerging or mid-career Indigenous professional passionate about Indigenous storytelling, virtual production, and creative capacity-building.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate schedules, communications, and deliverables for the Kinosew Virtual Labs production
Liaise with production team members and community partners to ensure timelines are met
Track budgets, milestones, and documentation throughout the project
Research and support the submission of funding proposals for IFFA’s growth
Provide basic administrative and reporting assistance as needed
Qualifications
Strong organizational and communication skills
Demonstrated interest or experience in Indigenous media, digital arts, or creative production
Grant writing or research experience is a strong asset
Ability to work remotely and independently
Indigenous candidates will be prioritized
Compensation
$25/hour for up to 20 hours/week (flexible schedule)
Grant Success Fee: 3–5% of successfully awarded funds that the coordinator helps write or prepare
Timeline
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Length: 6 months with possibility of renewal based on funding
